Description
a wine I would drink for its fruit and not cellar too long
The 2012 Pavillon Rouge is soft
Harmonious
There is a lot to admire in this drop-dead gorgeous Valpolicella from Romano Dal Forno
This is sleekly muscled with a structured but balanced finish that is austere but impressively persistent
Olivier Leflaive, Puligny Montrachet Pucelles Vintage:2021 a wine I would drinkHere too there is enough sulfur to render the nose difficult to read though soft floral nuance of acacia and honeysuckle do escape the funk. Otherwise there is lovely intensity to the caressing and attractively detailed medium bodied flavors that possess a highly refined mouthfeel, all wrapped in a saline and sappy finish. This too will need to add depth with bottle age but again, given the potential it should be able to accomplish that.
